FRENCH BASTARDS TOUR PART II
EPISODE 5
Date : March 2011
Location : France
Mode : Bastards

Once again, here are some TIC tour reports, we do our best to keep this section very up to date every time we come back home... Pictures, ITW's, live captation, all that you might have missed and that you won't have to misse the next time!

24/03 - Compiègne " Vieilles Pipettes Festival "
Marouailles Cheese and a bus full of chinese

26/03 - Lyon "Le Marché Gare"
Allez les Verts ! (let's go the "Green"!)

24/03 - Compiègne " Vieilles Pipettes Festival "
Marouailles Cheese and a bus full of chinese

First gig for TIC in Picard area, organised in "le Ziquodrôme" of Compiègne (the Venue) by some friendly students. The venue is crowded including a lot of Chinese came by bus as they knew TIC, true!! So although it was not a bus of Sweden chicks (French musician fantasy) we practise our rugby with our Chinese friends who touched for the first time a rugby ball.

A big thank you to Marie and all the students who welcome us very well: apparently in the past years some french bands have complained about the welcome, we really don't understand why! Honnestly guys if you don't like to tour in such conditions, stay home, play music in your bedroom!

Marouaille Cheese is a typical cheese from Picard country, TIC absolutely loved this cheese and Laurent described to people who came on stage all the subtle perfumes of that cheese!

26/02 – Lyon « Le Marché Gare »
Allez les Verts !

A big thank to Mediatone and MJC Perrache who promoted this date...
Even if at the end they were proudly wearing "lou capet" (the beret) of The Inspector Cluzo still thinking it was a beret from Basq Country whereas we had explained them ten times it was a beret from "Les Landes". Damn it.

Lyon is an extraordinary city, where everybody does not care of anything. You can go on stage saying "Allez les Verts", everybody doesn't care about it. ("Les Verts" are the soccer team of St Etienne which is the ennemy number 1 of Lyon).
Anyway, Lyon has a good rugby team who will play the Top14 championship next year, filling its stadium only when Grenoble comes and play vs Lyon thanks to Grenoble supporters as in Lyon, they don't care about rugby too!

The Inspector Cuzo all understood: It's not the fact that Lyon does not care of anything but Lyon wants to show that they are laid back,... All that to show us that using the "Droopy attitude" you can be treated like smart people!
What a weird way!

The gig was very good, no Droopy, no sleepy audience but a wild audience, a bastard audience proud of themselves for what they simply are. They are perfect! People living in a big city without being too serious, rare! Long live Lyon, Gaules capital (Lyon was formely the capital of "La Gaules" -France at the Roman Era-)
… Allez les Verts !

Here is the proof of this lively show: video !!!

Nice picture of Phil, relaxing before the show, in the emergency exit of "le Marché Gare" !

And lastly, an ITW made by the local magazine: Zyva, just before the show!
